Park Grand London Hyde Park

4-star hotel? No. More like 4-star B&B. The location is great. The service desk is great too. Other than that, the rooms are very...cozy. The walls are thin with creaking floors. And the decor is very demure and could definitely use some updating. Overall, solid if you don't expect a modern 4-star hotel. We were there just to sleep, so it served its purpose and was a good bang for our buck.

Booked this hotel specifically because of their parking as my wife had a hospital appointment at St. Mary to go for surgery. A week before the booking I get a message to say they have "Upgraded" us to their sister 4 start hotel as they had some maintenance issues. When I phone up to ask if that hotel has any parking as that's the specific reason I booked this hotel they said no, so closest available parking I could find was 20 minutes walk away for a ridiculous price tag. If that wasn't bad enough when we arrived to this "Upgraded" room, we were checked in by nice staff at the desk but we're given a room on the ground floor right outside the main street in paddington. The room was tiny and very tired looking. I could barely squeeze past the wall and the bed. Also, the shower and bathroom were designed for wheelchair access so as a 6'1 male you can imagine how comfortable that was after a 5 hour drive to London. Overall the location was great to access the hospital, staff were nice at the desk but the room and the "Upgrade" definitely felt more of a downgrade if anything. It was noisy, uncomfortable and the walk back to the car with a sick wife in the rain wasn't pleasant.

Hotel overrun with noisy families and feral children. Parents don’t control kids, reception doesn’t care. If you appreciate noise and mayhem, this is the hotel for you. If you like respectful guests and helpful staff, stay away - thh bb is is not the hotel for you. Noisy, rude, unhelpful.
