I am so glad I booked this hotel! My wife and I flew from South Korea to London, with our one year old and my biggest stress was the size of rooms available in London. This hotel provided such a room, that my wife and I instantly sighed in relief upon checking in. The value for money was fantastic and I have only praises to give. The gentleman at the counter also offered to help us carry our luggage down to our room, and that was greatly appreciated. The only point of improvement I would give (very minor) is the shower didn’t drain well. Other than that, I would 100% stay here again and would encourage anyone to give this hotel a try. It is in an amazing location, with fantastic room sizes (basement for us) and really helpful staff.
I believe under the leadership of Miss January Stevens, everyone were warm and extremely hospitable. I wish to praise ALL the staff of Park Grand Mayfair - I was just in London for a couple of days back in May and I have been meaning to write a great feedback but it slipped my mind until today. For context, I was travelling with my husband and child around a few countries in Europe and London was my final stop. First of all, I would say for a hotel room in London (pretty central if you ask me) the price would be fairly reasonable. It’s seen as a 5 star accommodation but do not expect it to be a large 5 star hotel like what you might be used to. However, I really loved to cosiness of it all. Secondly I would like to share my personal experience(s). On the first day upon arrival, we were checked in into the wee hours due to our train’s arrival. The staff at the desk was very prompt and quick to help with no hesitation. When I confirmed if I had a cot, 2 staff came up IMMEDIATELY to set up to cot. I was not expecting this at all, not at 12am. I was truly touched by this act. By the way there’s a lift in this hotel or you can walk up and down. I think it’s about 4 storeys high if i remember correctly. Over the next few days, all staff were exceptionally amazing. I believe under the leadership of Miss January Stevens, everyone were warm and extremely hospitable. Each time we asked for help, it was responded very quickly. I actually did not have any rush/urgency to get the issues resolved (eg. Room key not working, normal for ANY hotel OR borrowing the microwave at 11pm in the night), but they still acted swiftly upon it. The staff truly bring good cheer to our holiday and we saw nothing but pleasant smiles. Lastly, I like that its walking distance to two lines, I wouldn’t say it’s extremely close but it’s London and you’re on a holiday! Where are you rushing off to? Take a nice stroll and grab a bake from a nearby cafe (there’s a really nice one about 2-4 mins away called Arome Bakery, get the honey butter toast)! My favourite park is nearby as well! Sorry it took so long but I will definitely recommend staying here especially if you are looking for a cosy place in central London.. Have a great day ☀️
I just checked into this hotel and was immediately hit with the disgusting smell of urine as I entered the room. The carpet is wet and reeks of pee – it’s absolutely revolting. It’s clear the room hasn’t been cleaned properly, and it’s impossible to stay here comfortably, let alone hygienically. I went straight to the reception, and all they kept saying was that the manager isn’t available and they could only move us to another room tomorrow. When I asked for a refund, they refused and told me nothing could be done until the manager decides. So basically, we’re being forced to spend the night in a dirty, urine-soaked room, and they’re not taking any responsibility. No solution, no compensation, no decency. This is one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had – the smell, the filth, and the complete lack of professionalism from the staff. Stay far away from this place.
