Park Hall Hotel

Upon arrival, we were very disappointed with the entrance into the hotel grounds, apparently it used to be a theme park, and has been taken over bythe current owners who are doing up the hotel and grounds. The foyer was a complete different story it was lovely! Clean and very inviting. We had afternoon tea in the spa area, which was delicious 😋 then to proceed to the spa facilities along with a superb therapist 😀 I believe the manager of the spa was called Bree and she was very helpful, and helped in every way possible. The dinner and breakfast were very enjoyable, lots to choose from and the breakfast was amazing, fresh fruits, yogurts, continental and English breakfasts were available. All staff are extremely friendly and helpful, nothing is too much trouble.

What an experience Room cancelled because didn’t answer the phone. Yet no one left a message voicemail to say needed to confirm booking again for stay. Ended up paying more for less.. had to ask 3 different times for a fridge that was already meant to be in the room with kitchen. No such luck!! Again, pay more for less.. The place still under construction and it’s a disaster. The staff are a joke! 3 reception staff talking over one another then get a duty or ops manager involved to still talk over one another!! If you get a manager to deal with the guest then let them, and guess what all 3 started talking over everyone again.. The staff need a serious over hall in training, from customer service and just cancel peoples booking, especially when they get a payment if no show when do a midnight audit.. not the best experience since Radisson individual group took over. It was better run with the previous owners, especially when we and all others use this hotel, pretty much to capacity 3 different times and sometimes more a year. On occasion the over flow has to stay at the Ramada around corner which is a nightmare, as everything is in park hall hotel.

DO NOT JOIN THIS GYM I have been a member of the gym since January 2025. There have been lots of 'teething issues' of which the members are more than happy to work with the club to rectify and understand these things can take time. However we are now in August. The pool and showers smell like sewage. The doors from the changing rooms to the pool are not fit for purpose which means the changing rooms are like a poor steam room, hot, wet and smelly, rendering them unusable. The communication is even worse. Management will send an email out to members but cannot on any occasion make the effort to respond to any emails sent to them. They do not respond to staff requests and escalations of issues affecting members experience of the site. It's a shocking state of affairs with lies, deflection and dishonesty at the heart of everything they do. I could go on and on but I won't bother. I would simply advise .... DO NOT JOIN THIS GYM.
