Park Hotel am Berliner Tor

Room was very small and bed was not the greatest. Im glad the room had a mini fridge. But there was no water kettle/boiler so we couldnt make ramen or anything. Elevator was really small im glad we didnt have much to carry. Lobby was nice and staff was friendly. Location is good but not pretty. There are shops and restaurants near.

Morning staff were Great, most of the evening staff were as well. But the Barman was Terrible. I asked very politely for a glass of ice to take upstairs to the room , only to be told Abruptly " ice was only for people in the bar " an absolute disgrace. It's no what he said so much as the way he said it. Didn't spoil our lovely break . This is not a 4 Star hotel as you would have in Ireland or England, it was ok , Clean ,pokey , but Never 4 star .

We had a very, very unpleasant experience. We arrived at the hotel late that night, very tired, and were sleeping deeply. Suddenly at about 3 am the door was unlocked and two employees entered our room laughing. We got up in terror. The employees noticed us and ran away without apologizing. When we chased after them and asked them what was going on, they simply said they had made a mistake and ran away. The next morning we told the front desk what happened and asked for the manager, but they didn't seem to care. We were offered a complimentary breakfast with no refund of course. We were so tired and uncomfortable that we could not sleep, and breakfast was not an option. We asked for full reimbursement and they really didn't seem to care. I would not stay at this hotel. There is not an ounce of hospitality.
