Park Hotel Arbanassi

The hotel is in urgent need of renovation, as it looks like it’s literally falling apart. Our entire terrace was covered with debris from peeling plaster, which was both unpleasant and unsafe. The only good thing about the place is the view — but that’s thanks to the natural location, not the hotel itself. Right from our arrival, we had to go searching for the receptionist, as there was no one at the front desk to check us in. The room was quite old and poorly maintained. The drain stopper in the bathroom was broken, and we had to remove it ourselves just so the water could drain properly. The bathtub was so tiny that it was impossible for an adult to fit comfortably. Even our 4-year-old daughter, who weighs only 16kg, had a hard time using it. There weren’t enough hangers in the wardrobe for us to properly unpack, and we had to ask for extra hangers from the staff — which, frustratingly, took a while to sort out. The pool was pleasantly warm, but the area around it was dirty and poorly maintained, with no nearby restroom facilities, which was very inconvenient. Breakfast was extremely limited, with very few options to choose from. Overall, the price we paid was absolutely not worth it for the quality and service we received. This place could have potential if it were properly renovated and managed, but in its current state, I wouldn’t recommend it.

We'd stayed here in the previous years and it was okish, but now this place is falling appart. We're staying for 2 nights. I've been asked to pay before checking in. If I wouldn't have payed already, we'de have left. First problem: the light in the room was not working and they said they will solve the problem the next day. It wasn't. Next morning - breakfast: the coffee machine is not working and... "yeah, it's not working, sorry!" was the answer 😅As they had an esspressor, I've asked if I could have a coffee from it - they gave it to me it a plastic cup (the ones for water/juice). The price of the room has breakfast included. We do not eat in the morning, we just wanted coffee... At 12:00 the card to the room was not working and I'm waiting to the reception for 15 minutes already and no one is here...

We only leave this review because of how we were treated. The room and bedsheets did not have a clean appearance. The mattress pad was in the closet instead of on the bed. Carpeting was worn and stained. Room access was difficult: we had to navigate multiple stairs up and down. Despite checking in very late (4:30 a.m.), they wanted to charge us by the hour to check out late. Also, they did not allow us the free breakfast because we woke late, even though we asked the manager. If they were a customer-oriented hotel, they would definitely have found a way to be friendly to guests who traveled a long way and arrived late, but they had no sympathy and even expressed no empathy. Their hearts were not warm.
