Charming historic mansion with a peaceful garden setting We had a lovely stay in this beautiful hotel housed in a historic mansion. If you’re looking for peace and quiet, this is the perfect place. The atmosphere is calm and relaxing, with a slightly worn interior that actually adds to the charm and character of the house. One side of the hotel opens onto a huge park with a triumphal arch and three museums — all just a short walk away. We visited all three in two days, which was very convenient. The other side faces a stunning garden, ideal for morning coffee or an evening stroll. Breakfast was very good, with a nice variety: omelet, bacon, five types of cheese, and everything else you need for a full meal. In-room amenities include instant coffee, tea, powdered cream, and a kettle. A bottle of water was provided on the first day. There was no iron, slippers, or bathrobe, but there were extra pillows, which we appreciated. Some minor downsides: the pillows were very high — uncomfortably so — and oddly, the duvet was not placed inside the duvet cover. We ended up laying it on top like in a sleeper train. On the third day, tea, coffee, and vanity items were not restocked. Despite these small issues, we would absolutely return. The garden alone is worth the stay — it’s so peaceful and beautiful, you may not want to leave.

I had an excellent experience at this hotel for a group reservation! Our guests were very happy with their stay—everything was perfect. The rooms were comfortable, and both the food and service were outstanding. The staff went above and beyond to make sure everything was smooth. Highly recommended, and we will definitely consider this place for future events!

It's like traveling back in time! I bet the mattresses are still from the 80's because they have a deep sagging. The water is as hard as it gets, full of minerals, which actually might be good for the skin. The attention at the reception is nevertheless 1st class, really friendly and helpful. Ordering a taxi, storing your suitcase and some tips about the neighborhood are always welcomed. The breakfast is good.
