Park Hotel Cellini

Generally not bad, but it could be better. Good: - Great location (1 minute walk to the beach) - Reserved sunbeds on the beach - The pool was nice - Friendly staff by the pool and great housekeeping Bad: - One parking is 10 minute walk away from the hotel (not good in case of rain and you have to bring all your stuff to the room immediately, because your car is far away) - Furniture is not "vintage" but old and just painted over - You can hear noise from the hallway and neighbouring rooms - Junior suite is not really a suite, but just a bit bigger room - No pool or beach towels provided (you can rent them for 20€) - It's actually more a 3 star hotel, not 4 star (I've been to 4 star Hotels before, that's not it)

Room well appointed though in this day and age really needs to offer more power points. Bathroom clean fresh and modern. Good powerful showers. Room clean and well maintained with only fault being some scuffed and shabby looking furniture. Location and access to beach is a full 10/10. Breakfast was a bit average. Staff all very warm, friendly and helpfull. Fleet of free bicycles needs to be replaced or, at least, better maintained.

Place is ok. Went to use the in-room glasses only to notice they were used and dirty upon pouring into the second one. Pool area is cute and beach is easily accessible. I can barely fit on the toilet as the sink is jammed in front of it. I smile everytime I walk in at the desk but they rarely lookup or smile back. You hear a lot of noise too. Parking is a nightmare. Definitely not 4 star.
