Park Hotel Kenmare

This hotel was one of our favorites on our trip to Ireland. The service was impeccable. They are very friendly and accommodating. The live music at night was beautiful. We wish we could have stayed longer. We loved the views and the breakfast was delicious. The location was perfect as well. Our only complaint is that the shower was pretty small. However the bath tub and overall rooms and bathroom was perfect for us!

Spent five wonderful nights at this hotel and enjoyed every moment! From the second we walked in we were warmly greeted with a glass of wine and our room was ready soon after. While we waited, we had lunch in the dining room - beautiful views and excellent food and service. The room was large and comfortable with a four poster bed and we had views across the lake. We were shown to our room, which is not common these days in many hotels, so we appreciated that. The pool and spa were great and the hotel grounds are beautiful. As it is located just a short walk from the center of Kenmare, we ate our evening meals there, however we stopped by the bar on several evenings for a drink and enjoyed a real fire alongside talented pianists playing great background music. I really can't say enough good things about this place - they care about all the small details. Other hotels might have similar rooms or location, but what sets the Park Hotel apart from almost any other that we have visited (across the world - we travel a lot!) is the personal service - that sense of coming back in the evening and being greeted and asked about your day. Nothing was too much trouble and, unusually, we were actually quite sad to be leaving at the end of our stay. We definitely hope to return one day! Tip: if you get a chance, take the art tour of the hotel, fascinating and led by a very knowledgeable person. Thank you for a wonderful stay, and keep on doing what you're doing - it sets you apart from the rest!

Beautiful hotel in a prime location in the wonderful town of Kenmare - perfect for exploring this corner of Ireland. Very much felt at home here due to the lovely staff who took a keen interest in our plans. Rooms are large and immaculate - with beautiful views. Onsite restaurant was excellent for both breakfast and dinner. Amazing value as well. Highly recommended
