My room was very clean and plenty of space, bed was very comfortable, and my room was very quiet, the staff spoke some English and was very accommodating, plenty of off street parking, breakfast was included was a very light assortment of choices, dinner was very good good and filling and wine and waterall was included in the price. . There was no menu the night i was here. I would definitely come back again if my travel plans ever permitted. Thanks, Rick. Jan 3rd, 2024
With the family we spent 2 nights at the PHP, we read the reviews and we were a little in doubt about booking. However, once we called for reassurance, the manners and the answers were satisfactory. Yes it is true that this is a place which must have seen more glorious times, really a huge complex which must be really hard to keep up...however we have a pleasant stay, the rooms are huge very clean (we personally did not care too much about the little imperfection on the wall or the aged Jacuzzi ). Much importantly, the beds are very comfortable, clean cotton sheets and the pillows are not the awful ones usually you find in hotels and you have plenty of space to move around the room. We had the hot pool all for ourselves and although the food wasn't always super hot, it was tasty, of good quality and of generous amount. From personal experience, I dear to reply to some of the previous comments that it seem like these complaining customers wanted it all: paying an average fee per night....and having instead a top luxury hotel. (which possibly they don't want to afford?). Anyway we cared little about the grand, but personally kitsch sculptures and stuff around the entrance, and more about comfort so no disappointment there! For the price you pay, comparing to some of the accommodation in the island, you get a very good value for money, and a lot of kindness from every single staff person in the hotel. Grazie
