The culinary offerings at the hotel were second to none. Each meal was a masterpiece, enhanced by a vast wine selection that perfectly complemented the dining experience. The look and feel of the hotel is magnificent - old royal property. Both interior and exterior decor is magnificent and very well maintained. Rooms are huge and bathrooms are modern. The dining area is also royal and dinner was delicious. The reason for me rating the hotel 4 and not 5 are the following: - no local food options on the dinner menu which is a turn down being in Italy - all the wines listed in the menu were not available - breakfast options were limited **Tricky part is to find the correct side road leading to property from the main road, so pay real attention to the map while driving.

Gorgeous building but a bit of love is needed regarding the garden and pool. The service is fantastic, really friendly and involved.
