I stayed in a suite with a courtyard view, and my room was very spacious. The lobby, pool facilities, hotel grounds, and bar were all very well kept. I particularly liked the adults-only pool and hot tub, as the main pool was loud with many children. The front desk and valet staff were very attentive and answered all of our questions and requests in a timely manner.

From start to finish, the staff went above and beyond to make our stay feel extra special. Every little detail—from the warm hospitality to the thoughtful touches—made the celebration feel elevated and memorable. The hotel is in a great location, especially for families. If you have kids, this place is definitely worth checking out. It strikes that rare balance between luxury and family-friendliness. The food was a highlight—everything we tried was excellent. The breakfast buffet especially stood out: high quality, fresh, and full of options that went well beyond the typical spread. Overall, it was a really wonderful Father’s Day and an ideal spot for a San Diego staycation. Whether you’re celebrating a special occasion or just looking to relax close to home, this hotel delivers in every way. Highly recommended!

Words can’t express my gratitude for what I consider the best resort hotel in the universe. Every second of our stay was absolutely amazing. All the staff were incredibly kind and attentive, and everywhere we went we felt genuinely welcomed. The hotel is spotless, and the attention to detail is exceptional. We dined at the on-site restaurant, ponto Lago, and the food was flawless. We also enjoyed playing tennis, and the court staff were super friendly. This trip created unforgettable memories with my wife. From now on, all we want is to save up and return whenever we get the chance!
