My stay at Park Hyatt Changsha didn’t start well due to a miscommunication from the hotel about the upgrade cost, but they quickly took ownership and resolved the issue. From that point on, the experience was outstanding—truly the best we’ve had in Changsha. Among the top three hotels we’ve experienced in the city—Niccolo (also in IFS), St. Regis, and Park Hyatt—this Park Hyatt stands out as the best overall. The facilities are in excellent condition (Niccolo opened almost 10 years ago, and I’m not sure when St. Regis launched), and its location is far more convenient for tourists than St. Regis. While Park Hyatt Changsha doesn’t offer a labeled “butler service” like St. Regis, the service quality was on par. You can call for any assistance—or simply message their WeChat team—and they respond right away. Breakfast was another highlight, with great quality and selection. The hotel only has one restaurant but there are so many choices in the IFS mall, which entrance is right next to the hotel entrance on the first floor. You can also access through the fourth floor but you would need to walk outside for a minute.
China‘s newest luxury hotel One of the best (if not the best) hotels in China. The rooms are spacious and have a nice interior. Staff is super friendly and helpful. The spa is very impressive. Located in IFC Tower 2, one of the highest buildings in Changsha. Whenever you are in Changsha, make sure to stay at the property
Beautiful hotel with gorgeous rooms and a well-designed spa/ exercise room that includes a yoga studio, steam room, jacuzzi, huge lap pool, and hydrotherapy. Location is solid, and staff was super helpful especially helping me figure out how to navigate and use the Chinese apps. Shoutout to Tazz who helped me coordinate a taxi to the airport! The only drawback I would call out is that the lobby and rooms are on the high 50+ floors and the elevators to the rooms are in a separate hall from the lobby elevator meaning it takes quite a while to do a round trip, say if you forget something once you’re ground level then it takes 15 minutes to go up and down. And the elevators require some waiting. Also while it borders the mall it’s not in the mall meaning there are some extra doors to go through to get back if going through the mall.
