THE place to stay in Mendoza. First class service. Excellent location. We are always treated very well here. I couldn’t recommend it enough. Also, Breakfast is first rate. We will be back again soon.
EDIT*** Since I wrote this initial review the hotel has rectified the situation. We provided proof that we tried to contact the hotel before the booking started and they were able to move our booking dates. Thank you for taking care of the situation and making it right! In my review of our stay I will say, the staff was extremely friendly and kind! The service was outstanding. But the pool is small and some areas of the property and our bathroom sink smelt of sewage. Seriously disappointed in the management of this hotel. We booked with them them through Hotwire and a mistake was made with the date. Hotwire said we have to contact the hotel to change to the proper dates. No one from the hotel responded and then they said “the booking started and there’s nothing we can do” when we had been trying to contact them for 3 days straight. I can’t believe that they refused to help us which resulted in us losing over $1000. So terrible.
I recently stayed at the Park Hyatt in Mendoza and, while the location is certainly a highlight—offering convenient access to local restaurants and attractions—the overall experience fell short of expectations, especially for a hotel positioned as five-star. Pros: • Great location, within walking distance to many restaurants, shops, and tourist sites. Cons: • The room was not as clean as expected. There were noticeable stains on the carpet, which immediately gave off a worn-down feeling. • The bathroom lacked basic ventilation; no exhaust fan made it stuffy after a shower. • The walk-in shower had poor drainage. Water remained pooled on the floor overnight, and housekeeping had to mop it the next day. • Breakfast was overpriced and underwhelming in both selection and quality. Overall, I would rate this as a three-star experience at best. The amenities and service do not justify the premium pricing, and I expected a much higher standard of cleanliness and functionality from a hotel of this caliber.
