Park Hyatt Milan was hands down the best hotel we stayed at during our time in Italy. From the moment we arrived, the service was impeccable — the doormen were attentive and welcoming, the front desk and room service teams were top-tier, and housekeeping kept everything spotless and perfectly maintained. The rooms were absolutely beautiful — elegant, spacious, and thoughtfully designed. Breakfast each morning was a delight, with high-quality offerings and great service to match. If I had one wish, it would be for a larger gym, but that’s a small note in an otherwise flawless experience. Highly recommend for anyone looking for refined luxury and world-class hospitality in Milan.
We stayed several nights and had an excellent experience. Bathrooms with high end luxuries as expected including soaking tub and shower. Bidets in the room. We dined at several Michelin star restaurants during our time in Milan and the breakfast at the hotel was still a highlight. The staff go out of their way to be helpful and welcoming. Most impressive was a conversation with the bartender who opined about how well they are treated as staff by the general manager, especially during the remodel and shutdown over the pandemic. Got the sense that they really believe in the hotel and their service. Would recommend without reservation.
I visited the Park Hyatt in Milan for lunch with my family, and the experience was extremely disappointing. From the moment we were seated, the service was shockingly poor. It took ages just to be handed menus, while other tables who arrived after us were quickly served and attended to. The restaurant wasn’t even busy, so there was no excuse for the delay. What made it worse was the clear difference in how we were treated compared to other guests—it felt borderline racist. We were made to feel invisible. My young son was hungry and restless, and no one made any effort to check on us or acknowledge the situation. My wife voiced her complaints directly to staff, making it clear that we were unhappy with how we were being treated. Despite this, no one seemed to care. Even the manager, while polite, offered no genuine apology or meaningful resolution. Eventually, we had no choice but to walk out. We went to enjoy lunch elsewhere—somewhere we were treated with basic respect. This kind of experience is unacceptable at any establishment, let alone one carrying the Hyatt name. If you’re a family or a guest from a diverse background, I strongly urge you to consider other options when in Milan.
