Park Inn by Radisson Göttingen

Best morning coffe this far. Came in on motorcycle and took a sneaky passing of the gate and got some good tomato soup and pizza. Clean and newly refurbished hotel. Hidden behind another hotel in a quiet neighbourhood.

One of the best places to stay in Göttingen. The rooms are very clean. The stuff if very helpful and friendly. Hotel has it's own var and restaurant. The food is very good. One of the best breakfast that i have seen so far in Göttingen. Hotel has a big parking , a fitness room and sauna.

We had requested a baby cot in our room and it was missing. The bed was very quickly rolled over by a very friendly receptionist. This bed was broken and frankly unsafe. We had to put a suitcase against the un-closable zipper on the side of the bed. There was also a fitted sheet for a baby mattress wrapped around the bottom of the travel cot and but no actual mattress. The sheet was not secured well at all. This resulted in our 1 year old playing around - pulling out the bottom and repeatedly removing the sheet. Disappointing, unpleasant experience due to this baby bed and I would have probably been raising hell if our child was some months younger. This is because it is not a safe bed for a baby. The (standard) room itself was small for 2 people and a baby but totally doable for just 1 night. Because of the short stay we had prepared just 1 small suitcase with necessities, any more probably would have been hard to maneuver. Bathroom very small, but also perfectly doable. The shower design really could use sliding doors. It's way too small for an Italian style shower. I'm surprised this hotel is 4 stars on RH website. I would have given it 3 stars max. The only part that was 4 stars about it was the price. City center is not easily accessible from here and the parking at least should have been free for guests in this area. They charged 12e. Decent breakfast and very nice staff.
