Absolutely perfect ♥️ we were welcomed with a voucher for the hotel lobby bar during waiting for the paperwork to be done, were offered a parking spot right in front of the hotel and got helped whenever something came up for us. Breakfast had everything to offer, from continental to Latvian choices. And the room on 9th floor had an amazing view and was super quiet. Well yeah: we enjoyed our stay very much 😁
I was in Riga for work for several days and I’ve had a really great stay in this hotel! The staff was very helpful and friendly the whole time, I’d especially like to thank one of the reception staff - Adrians. He checked me in at 5 am in a very welcoming and supportive way after my 8-hour delay flight, gave me a nice and quiet room and ensured that everything is alright with my stay. I felt comfortable in my room and could rest well there. The room was cosy, bed was nice and everything was very clean. I also enjoyed daily breakfast and dinner at the hotel restaurant once. I’d stay at this hotel again if I come to Riga for work, thank you!
Good for a short stay. Let's analyse how it went... Positives - I liked the room was clean and colorful. Bathroom was tidy as well. It included a hairdryer, bathing gels. Person at the reception was welcoming on the first day. Things to improve - Breakfast: Didn't like the breakfast, it was average. It doesn't generate good memories if you stay for a nice holiday and if paid big buck; a summer time cost. On first day I saw a dead bug on a dish. How didn't they notice it? (Is it because they say the service is green 🌱?) Attached a photo here. One coffee machine was out of order on the second day. Bathroom - cannot fully close the bathing area. Not a big deal though. Room - Room overall is poorly lit. There's no light in the cupboard. Good luck finding your lost sock there. Service - Overall okay but when one checks out, is it nice to say 'Thank you for staying ' or ' Have a good day' something like that? Heard in some other hotels. Just a suggestion. My conclusion is , it s okay just to stay. Save your money, I'd not come here for foods. The hotel screams, 'hey, Riga has great foods to offer, go and have those but not from us'. It's not worth to pay a substantial booking fee. Room aesthetics are good and the hotel is close to attractions.
