The location is okay but very far away from the down town (4km). The beach is really nice and clean, I enjoyed swimming in the lake, but eventually the pool wasn’t working??? (I don’t know why). Rooms are wonderful, clean, modern and the view is amazing. I just didn’t like how one time the maid just bumped into our room, like without knocking, introducing herself, and so on…., she picked up something and left 🧐. I also didn’t like the food, both times we had dinner we waited 1 hour to get one plate of the dish that everybody else eaten. The dish cold, unsalted, just no… One time when I asked the waiter: “what’s for the dinner?” he said “I have no clue” and just left. Other than that the service was okay, kind, friendly
Well, this hotel definitely is not a 4 star hotel. There was nobody to open the gate, the restaurant very poor, and you can see the kitchen from the hall entrance, and it is not clean ….Room and sheets with stains, bathroom not very clean, and overall dirty. There were visible bugs, definitely not a high standard!!!! Lastly, the TV is old and was low quality. It also did not have almost any working channels. Pictures are not an accurate representation of the real thing.
Worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in. We were with a large group. Multiple people had to request new rooms because of broken AC, dirty rooms, or sewer smell in the bathrooms. Our room was not very clean. There was trash in the corners of the lobby and stained carpet. Front desk staff was very unhelpful. Restaurant was very poor quality food. In the words of a cousin, “I didn’t know they could ruin a hamburger.” We discovered dirty (not just stained) sheets when we went to get in bed at 10:30pm, and they gave us a hard time because the cleaning lead went home at 10 and they couldn’t possibly do anything about it. After 30 minutes of back and forth, we were given keys to a new room so we could retrieve our own new sheets. The only redeeming quality is the view and proximity to Lake Ohrid. Even with that, however, this was a terrible experience. This hotel may have rated at a 4 star quality in the distant past, but it has fallen far, far below that level. Oh, and one of the elevators had blood splatter on the ceiling.
