While this hotel look nice on the inside & out, there were several things that could have made it a lot better. The bathroom door in our room didn't close; the bathroom sink was clogged so the water went down very slowly. Breakfast was terrible! Only coffee & cheap bagels. No tea or milk. We had to go elsewhere to get a decent breakfast.
I wish I dove deeper into the reviews before paying $250 a night for this hotel. When I got to hotel the whole lobby reeked of cigarettes. Luckily the room didn’t; it just smelled very heavily of cleaning supplies. I always check the bed when I get to a hotel. Every layer of bedding had a stain on it. I did not take pictures but there was a visible stain in different spots on the blanket, the duvet cover, the top sheet and the bottom sheet. The staff was nice and rushed up to change the bedding, but still it shouldn’t have to be that way. The hot water in the bathroom came out boiling which I was not ready for and could easily hurt someone. The “breakfast” is not even worth getting. Finally the bar in the lobby had a band playing and I was on the 4th floor (!!!!) and could hear them at least until 11pm. I would say be weary of the 5 star ratings, use your critical thinking when reading them, as there is a common theme among the reviews.
Disappointed with Our Stay We were really looking forward to a relaxing time at the Park Manor Hotel in Clifton Park, but unfortunately, our stay was not enjoyable. The elevator was out of service, and we had to take the stairs to the third floor, even though we booked a jetted tub room. We also expected basic amenities like a microwave, but there wasn’t one in the room. The shower floor was dirty, and there were no washcloths provided with our towels we had to request them. The paint was chipping in both the bathroom and the common areas, which gave the place a neglected feel. Overall, the experience fell far short of our expectations, and we would not choose to stay here again unless significant improvements are made.
