Park Plaza Bangkok Soi 18

Really nice hotel in terms of food options, rooms and service. The ambience is great. We forgot a suitcase in a cab and almost lost it when the concierge helped get it back from the cab owner. The staff is comfortable with english and it was a great relief for us.

Have not stayed here but security guard seems to be well-trained - he seems to have excellent deductive reasoning skills - and is not problematic for no reason, which is already a lot more than I can say about 90% of the places in Bangkok. I can only assume service is excellent in the rest of the hotel too.

Park Plaza is a good hotel. A little tired, but good overall. Staff is welcoming and worm. Location is the best. The price is very fair. Breakfast is not bad and priced well. Gym limited, but usuable, pool smaller, but big enough. Honestly, it deserves 4* at least. However, there is one thing I find simply insulting- the state of the hotel towels (see the pictures). They are pretty much rags, not towels. Thin, old, often with holes, pool towels with spots and decoloration... You would not use these rags at home, maybe to wipe floors, and for sure you don't serve towels like this to your guests, especially paying guests. This is so disrespectful! I have not seen towels this bad in 2* motels in the middle of nowhere. I don't know, who is in charge of this department, but that person should not be working in hospitality, let alone for a respected Radisson Hotel nerwork. Shame on you!
