Comfortable, spacious and well appointed rooms. A minor matter was quickly resolved by the helpful and friendly staff. With our room overlooking the park like golf course, it made for a pleasant stay. The on site Lotus restaurant is an added bonus.

Great place to relax with stunning golf course views. Spacious rooms, year-round pool, and a lovely ambiance—perfect for special events. The restaurant was only open once during our three-night stay, which was disappointing. The bar was great, with a welcoming bartender. The location can be tricky to find on your first visit. We also left items behind on both trips, our son’s two toy bunnies the first time, and a small electric fan the second. Tried calling, but no one answered. Overall, a great stay with a few minor issues.

The entrance at the road used to have a 'Gibralter' sign, so it was obvious where to enter. It wasn't there this time around? There is a clear sign to GolfView but not the Park Proxi Gibraltar. I fed this back to reception who said that the hotels logo was at the entrance???? Who is going to recognise a logo? My booking email confirmation says Park Proxi Gibraltar. Quite bizarre!? My advice: erect a clear sign post, it is so easy to do that. Also, a year later since our last visit and Google maps still sends you around some local houses, adding to the confusion. (Screen grab shared with this review.) A very overpowering smell when entering the hotel and hotel room. Like air freshener or something but too much and it needs to be sorted out. Is it masking another smell? I hope not! Rooms nice, although we had to ask for towels, (we booked as a family of four but only had towels for two.) Bar nice and bar staff were fantastic. Restaurant needs an interior designer just to spruce it up. It wouldn't take much but currently it is as if you are dining in an office building. - the view from the window is very pretty but just something when you enter, maybe a nice screen(s) put around to section the room off a bit? Swimming pool has missing tiles and some of the wood is beginning to rot. Repair that now and it will save tens of thousands in the future. Overall we would stay again as this is a handy stop over when travelling south.
