Top place to stay on my visits to Townsville. Especially for Jazz Club. Rooms a good size, booking in is easy, staff friendly. Location in the Palmer Street precinct with great eatery options.

We had a unit on the front and the rooms are spacious and well maintained. Unit was clean and serviced every day. Staff were friendly and helpful. They are fully self-contained. Highly recommend as these units are close to a street full of restaurants and close to the city.

Absolutely Not Recommended – Terrible Experience. This place is absolutely not recommended. I booked through Agoda and arrived late, needing to use the after-hours service. The staff couldn’t find my booking and abruptly hung up the phone, refusing to offer any further assistance. After multiple attempts to get help, the manager finally came out, shouted at me, threw the room key at me, and told me to "figure it out" before walking away. The room itself was filthy — it looked like someone had vomited and the mess hadn’t been cleaned. When I confronted the manager about both the condition of the room and the lack of customer service, he deflected all responsibility, acted unprofessionally, and showed blatant racism. He also lied, claiming he couldn’t find my booking information, which is why he didn’t send me any check-in instructions — despite the fact that I had booked and paid in advance. Throughout the conversation, he continuously interrupted me and claimed he couldn’t understand me. As an Asian woman and travel alone, I felt belittled, bullied, and completely disrespected. No one should be treated this way. Avoid this property at all!
