We enjoyed our stayed at the Park Taipei Hotel. It’s a small boutique hotel with a fantastic location. Reception was helpful and speak some English. Subway entry is actually less than 20 steps from the front door of the hotel. About a 25 mins walk to Taipei 101. There’s a few coffee places near hotel. The room was comfortable and quiet, even though we can see the subway...We didn’t hear it. We had a small fridge in the room and there were robes and slippers provided. As well as a hair dryer but not many amenities as they told us they are no longer allow to provide them. Quiet and walkable location with eateries and convenience stores.
Very good location and amazing service. However, either the bed frame or the mattress was not very steady. When my partner turned while sleeping, I immediately felt it because it was really like an earthquake, therefore I was awake for several times in the night. Apart from that, the WiFi is super fast, staffs are friendly and the whole room is quite well equipped!
Great Location, But Service Needs Improvement. Great Location, But Service Needs Improvement We chose this hotel mainly for its excellent location, and it didn’t disappoint in that regard. It’s right in the heart of the Da’an district, which has a lovely vibe. The hotel is very close to the MRT station, surrounded by plenty of eateries and convenience stores — a big plus for travelers. Unfortunately, the service left much to be desired. Most of the staff didn’t greet us at all, and the overall attitude felt indifferent. However, we did appreciate the help from two friendlier staff members, Nancy and George, who assisted us with check-in, check-out, and fixing our room’s safe. One disappointing experience was with the concierge staff, who didn’t acknowledge us at all but enthusiastically greeted some Japanese guests nearby — the contrast was very obvious and off-putting. The room itself was generally okay, but cleanliness could be improved. There was a moldy smell in the bathroom when we first entered, and bottled water wasn’t replenished until we requested it. On a positive note, the housekeeping staff we encountered were friendly and polite. The hotel arranged airport transportation for us at a reasonable surcharge. The vehicles were clean and comfortable, and the drivers were excellent — a highlight of our stay. Although the hotel doesn’t have its own restaurant, they partner with Swensen’s. We had dinner there on the night we arrived. The food was passable, but the service was very poor — staff were cold and unwelcoming. Overall, our stay was acceptable thanks to the convenient location and a few helpful staff members. But if you value warm service and attention to detail, this hotel might fall short of expectations.
