Parkhotel Cup Vitalis Adults Only

Lovely hotel with great service and beautiful rooms. We arrived early and did not expect to check in, but just wanted to park the car. However the sweet receptionist told us our room was ready and we could check in. Very rare that happens nowadays (even if the room probably is ready) so an extra star for that. I think most of the hotel guests were germans and except for the receptionist everybody spoke german to us. So we had to brush up our poor german skills from school :-) Still had a great time and also enjoyed the breakfast buffet.

Another hotel where you have to bring your own wash cloth or use your socks instead if you don't. Our room was very small/narrow for the money we paid and did not have air conditioner nor fan. As a spa hotel and with the climate change around the world I was stunned that the rooms were not airconditioned. It was pretty warm night we spent. The breakfast was great but was surprised that the orange juice we drank was not freshly squeezed. Everyone at the receptionist desk was super nice.

Ok let me be a bit more specific. I stayed 4 days because all other places were booked. I did cancel all my other reservations at your place though. I believe that a hotel like Cup Vitalis should I least have a decent bed. I stayed in a room with a tiny little bed. No air-conditioning whatsoever and every day the cleaning crew opened the curtains such that my room was very hot. They even left the door to the balcony open such that people from adjacent rooms could have entered my room with all my belongings. On top of that, the fixed table concept during dinner and breakfast is absolutely ridiculous. No vending machines available either except some vending machines with nuts. Parking lot is also quite far from the main entrance. Do I need to go on??
