Parkhotel Flora am Schluchsee

Exceeded all expectations. Wonderful, friendly, kind and very helpful staff, delicious dinner and breakfast and our 2x rooms (1 room with balcony and 1 junior suite) were spotlessly clean and traditionally furnished. The gardens and outdoor pool are beautifully maintained and the hotel is perfectly positioned for excellent walking and cycling, and the station is a 5 minute walk away. For families, there is a fantastic youth centre on the hill by the hotel with two huge tyre slides, a playground and other facilities with a super venue serving hot dogs, other food and drinks. Seems to mostly be open only during local school holidays. Would highly recommend Parkhotel Flora and we hope to go back again one day.

Very beautiful hotel. All the Black Forest region is wonderful and here it's no exception! The staff is extremely kind and welcoming. They were readily available via Booking.com and they speak English and French extremely well (and German, of course). My mother was sick after our roadtrip and they were more than accomodating regarding room service, since she wasn't feeling well to go to dinner. The breakfast is from 7h30-10h30, there is cake and coffee from 14h30-16h30 and dinner is served from 18h00-20h00 (at the time of our stay, during this long weekend in June). The suite is like an appartement: is huge, well decorated, warm and cosy, and the balcony is also great. The outdoor and indoor pools are also amazing, especially the exterior one as you have a beautiful view of the forest. The gardens are also very pretty with perfect flowers and a lot of greenery all around you. It's a 15 minutes walk to the lake. It's highly recommended, and we will definitely be coming back. Gorgeous!

i think this is the best hotel Ive ever being ! location, rooms, service are absolutely great , although the food is typically German-europen, but theres always a La-carte good alternatives. family owned, excellent service from staff. very happy :) thank you Flora park Hotel for a great weekend
