Parkhotel Idar Oberstein

Everything in flowers, joy for the eyes. Rooms are simple, but everything important is there. I was late for breakfast, boiled eggs were finished, they made more especially for me. Great people. Thank you, I will come again!

The food was... so mediocre, it's not even funny. Salad consisted of a couple of pieces of cucumber, a couple of strands of carrots, and lettuce. That's it! Oh, and some chantarelle mushrooms. It was disappointing. The waiter didn't even ask what dressing we wanted. Weird. Potatoes in the other dish were fried with lots of oil, which you can actually see it on your food. It's definitely not worth the visit. Or maybe it's just different "standards". Usually hotels serve a quality food. Do not recommend.

No one speaks English except one lady at reception. The restaurant the service is below average and the breakfast below average. When I was in the shower the shower head fell off with the water pressure and felt on my head and the water started spilling all over and I couldn't have been electrocuted. I told the receptionist and she said thank you for letting me knows. Nice location and great looking small hotel.
