Parkhotel Richmond

Overall good impression after staying in Richmond hotel in KarlovyVary. The room was clean an spacious. The cleaning ladies were fabulous, always with smile. Food was very tasty. Restaurant and kitchen staff very friendly. Special thanks to Tanya who looked after so well. Girls at reception were very helpful and tried to accommodate any request. Special thanks to Lana in 1A room 9 was doing massage very professionally. Swimming pool staff were helpful and friendly. As regarding treatments, here we think there is a lot of work for the management: Some treatments not really worth time or money. inhalation - 8 minutes minutes of inhaling cold steam - don't think it has any effect, it can be done at home. Schottische Spritzen - not what it should be and some staff were doing it for 8 minutes and some for much less. On oxygen treatment we were left in the room with masks where after 25 minutes found that oxygen was leaking. No staff could be found for 50 minutes , so we just left after being in the room for an hour and 20 minutes. I would recommend Richmond hotel as nice and friendly place to stay and hope that the management will work improving the quality of treatments. Myroslava

I went in for the buffet dinner, the variety of hot and cold dishes is perfect, there is also a salad bar and a table for desserts. There is juice, water and coffee too. However the waiters who barely speak English, offered us drinks and they didn't bring them from the buffet area, but from the bar, which is totally unfair because on top of paying the buffet price I had to pay items a la carte.

everything is ok there, no complaints about the restaurant and spa. but the reception staff is a nightmare. angry, aggressive, irritated women, give incorrect information, and then also show open aggression and irritation. they would do well to go on vacation, or better yet, retire.
