Parkhotel Schillerhain

Great hotel positioned just outside the town with wonderful vista's, very handy for many walks and cycle ways, starting just metres away. The rooms are nice, fresh and modern, some with fabulous views. The breakfast is continental with lots of tasty choices for every guest. The reception is friendly, efficient and helpful, always with a smile, great!

Cute, modern hotel with plenty amenities and great people working there! The breakfast is really good for a 4 star, with plenty of healthy options which I truly appreciate. You have eggwhite bread, herbal quark and granola with fruits. Within two days we haven’t had a room service filling up water or coffee, you need to ask for it which we knew only when we left but given the sustainability aspect, I fully agree it‘s not needed daily. The spa opens regularly at 1:30 which is in my POV. a bit late. You can let the receptionist know if your wish is to go earlier, but impossible before 11. Weather in the mornings is usually colder, where my preference is spa in the mornings and walks/ wine tours afternoon. The park area is absolutely stunning and the location great. You have all sophisticated wineries around where I would surely come back but with some more communication on my side for wishes, such as room service, spa openings etc. :)

We stayed here to celebrate our Wedding Anniversary as well as my Birthday. If you're looking for a relaxing place then I can say that this hotel fits well. The food in their restaurant were all good tasting and the waiter and waitresses are so friendly. We also love the massage in their spa, and I enjoyed the view while sitting in their Sauna. My little complaint, but didn't ruin our vacation is the hairs in the bathroom that was not from us. Other than that all was perfect.
