Parkhotel Stader Hof

One of the most pleasant experiences we've had staying in a hotel. The rooms were well equiped and modern. The hotel looks like a ship on the inside and also resembles like the decks of a ship. The staff is very friendly and always available to help. Would highly recommend if you are in Stade!

Kind staff, comfortable rooms and good service. Its location was, for me, one of the highlights: located just 10 minutes away by walking from the city centre, and right by the river, where you can walk along or even practice some water sports.

The building and rooms are quite nice, but we were disappointed that the steam room was broken when we spent a couple’s getaway at Stader Hof in February 2020. It had been one of the reasons we had picked the hotel. When we asked for a discount it was declined. At check-out the credit card machine was broken and we were sent an invoice by mail that we paid immediately. A few weeks later we received a rude letter asking for payment and threatening with collection calls. While we understand that sometimes things happen, from a 4-star hotel we would have expected a more professional manner of dealing with problems and making things right.
