Parklands Resort Mudgee

The glamping tent was spacious and well maintained. It was very peaceful view. Stayed one night. Had dinner reservation at the restaurant; the entree’s were pretty decent; however the main was kind of off/ stale, don’t know if it was just our one dish( snapper Easter dinner menu). Desserts were okay too. Service was quick and the staff were friendly and polite.

Disappointing Stay – Not Worth the Price My partner and I stayed two nights in a Studio Suite and were met with a cold welcome at check-in. Despite prepaying for the stay with daily breakfast inclusion, I was asked to present the physical credit card used for booking so they could manually capture its details — an outdated and concerning practice. The room was clean and a decent size, but the bed was uncomfortable, and we were given a double instead of the requested king. The property overall felt poorly maintained. The gym was dirty with limited equipment, and the pool area looked very dated. There’s no room service, and the buffet breakfast was bland and repetitive. The only positives were the clean room, bathtub in the suite, and the location — close to town and wineries. However, the checkout was frustrating, with staff wrongly claiming we hadn’t paid for breakfast. Overall, a forgettable experience for the price I paid. Better options are available nearby. Not going back.

The rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable however my experience with the staff and service was poor. Reception were unhelpful when I rang up and tried to book (we were gifted a voucher so had to call to book) and not very friendly at check in. We were locked out of our room at one stage as they thought we had only booked for 1 night when we had in fact booked for 2 nights. Would not recommend.
