Parkroyal Penang Resort

Short trip for my husband birthday. Arrival : Greeted warmly and felt very welcomed. Our room was being cleaned when we arrive as a nice gesture for my husband birthday we were brought to restaurant for welcome drink while waiting. Less than 15min the room is ready. Room : To our surprise the room was spacious and the bed big enough to accommodate 4 of us (baby, toddler and 2 of us). Requested a simple birthday decoration, they brought us cake and balloons enough to make my husband happy. In-Room Dining : Delivered on time as per requested by they got one order wrong and they delivered the correct order around 30min later. But I was happy with the food, taste and texture wise excellent. Pool : coming on weekdays to avoid crowded but turns out they are more tourists and to my surprise the place felt lively rather than crowded. There are 2 pools and are spacious enough. Not just the staff were smiling to us but the guests were also kind to us especially to my kids. 1night not enough to soak up everything this resort has to offer so we will definitely be coming here again. Recommended !

Absolutely the best part of our holiday was this resort, always felt welcome. The team they have there deserve a pay rise! From the start I left my wallet in the cab and they sorted out all the work involved in getting it back which was super awesome. Everything there in my opinion is fairly priced and couldn't argue with the quality or service. If I get the chance to come back I will and I'd definitely recommend the Park royal to anyone. 10/10

Superb hotel. Everything about the hotel is absolutely top notch. The rooms, the staff, the food. Set in beautiful gardens right next to the beach. All the staff are super friendly and go out of their way to make you feel welcome. The bar area is absolutely fantastic, all the staff are great but special mention to Sue who worked really hard to please. Our room on the 7th floor was absolutely gorgeous, very contemporary and an enormous bed to spread out in. We were only bed and breakfast, but can say the food at breakfast was of the highest quality. I only have one negative to say and that is the hotel is child friendly which didn’t suit us at all. That is not the fault of the hotel, but I do think they should make certain areas just for adults, and enforce a kids pool rule, because they ruled both pools while we were staying! Not the hotels fault, modern day parenting I guess! Overall, a top notch 5 star hotel. Loved it.
