Stayed here this weekend for the Oasis gig and was greeted by Nicola and Mel at reception who were absolutely WONDERFUL. Could not have asked for any more - they booked a taxi to the train station for us, got me an early check in, and were just absolutely amazing in every way. Would stay here again just to be served by these two lovely ladies. Thank you so much!
Lovely hotel. Lovely comfortable room. Food was very nice in the bar and at breakfast. The receptionist was very helpful to me on arrival as I arrived 20 mins before check-in but as I had recently had a nose operation and was wearing a mask she understood that I didn't want to hang around in reception so ensured I got my pass quickly which was very helpful. The grounds are nice. I didn't get the chance to use the spa facilities. I would definitely stay there again.
Another lovely stay at Parkway. Whole place oozes character and is well maintained. Food in the restaurant was beautiful, only criticism would be the slightly small menu options. Double room, lovely facilities, amazingly comfy bed, decent strength shower. No temperature control in the room, heating set as standard in all rooms throughout the hotel. Main bar, lovely open fire, plenty of tables. Tables too low to eat from though. Spa facilities are clean and well utilised.
