This is a long review for those who really want to know as much as they can about these units There are five total buildings where two of them are across from each other, and one building at one end of the pool. Each building has three floors with two apartments on each floor. One apartment is a two-bedroom and the other is a one-bedroom on each floor If privacy is a main concern, these are most likely not for you. The two buildings across from us are about only 30 m at best and you can hear all conversations with anyone on their balcony. You can also see into their apartments if they're curtains aren't closed. We were lucky cuz the building right behind our apartment and I mean within 10 ft were offices so it concealed a lot of the noise from traffic and loud music. But many apartments with a bedroom in the back of the unit I'm sure you would hear noise late Into the night. When you come out of the condominium, you turn right and within 20 or 30 m you are on the main road that runs parallel with the ocean. Within a few blocks either way you have, mini markets, restaurants, bars, pharmacies, and money exchange units with very fair currency exchange. You have four different paths to get to the beautiful sandy beaches, and it takes anywhere from 12 minutes to maybe 20 minutes by foot. Most of you probably know this but you can walk in either direction for many kilometers. Now, I couldn't believe how quick we were serviced for many different items. Each time we contacted the water delivery service on WhatsApp, 2 five gallon jugs of RO water was at our apartment literally within minutes. Each jug was less than two American dollars each. If you contact three or four pharmacies within blocks of your building on WhatsApp, they usually get back to you right away with advice and pictures of what you may need. Then they will deliver them promptly. There's a 24-hour pharmacy about 15 minutes by foot with great service and prices Another example is my wife wanted to get a manicure and she WhatsApped a few nail salons and they got back right away with pictures and prices. We are not used to this kind of service here in Canada LOL We paid a bit more than other apartments in these condos but our host and items in our apartment made it well worth it. Anything that wasn't quite right was made right and I'm talking almost instantly. In our case, we did a lot of our own cooking and there was a grocery store within a 12 minute walk, even though it wasn't large it had almost anything you could think of grocery wise, and even other items not related to groceries. I bought a 10 American dollar expresso coffee kettle and enjoyed espresso every morning. We went to the Jumbo Superstore three times in our 1-month stay. You can get there by taxi, Uber or there little 3 wheel vehicles that I can't think of their name right now LOL Uber and these three wheeled vehicles are about five or six American dollars each way There are some very good savings on particular items add jumbo. We went through a lot of Brugal rum and it was super affordable. I will say that the streets were very filthy and some areas and sidewalks and roads are far from perfect so you have to be mindful of every step you take. When it rains quite a bit, that main road that is parallel with the beaches has many puddles and thankfully most of the native people are mindful when they are driving by you or you would be splashed big time. In conclusion, if you're not concerned with having the best privacy, these condos are in an excellent area and close to everything. We would not hesitate to go back.
