Great place to stay in Playa del Carmen . Staff is very attentive and is very safe. Also is super close to downtown area. Definitely recommend this place, whether you’re traveling with kids or as a couple.
Great condotel in a gated community (Playacar) and the condotel itself is gated with a security guard post at the entrance. 3bed penthouse is large with private stairs to roof terrace for BBQ and meals and sun tanning. Entire condo complex has about 60 units in a very large land area with its own cenote and long pool so there is a lot of privacy and sense of space. You can look at photos of units available for rent and book the specific unit you through BRICrental.com and look for paseo del sol under property.
Only issues are difficult access to beach, and 20 minutes to the city. But apartment itself was very nice, sunny and well kept. We liked the swimming pool, it probably was not heated but water was fairly warm due to sunny exposure what is extremely important to us (in Tulum we had great apartment with pool and private whirlpool but water was freezing in both). I do recommend to stay here.
