Great big rooms. Awesome swimming pool with a swim up bar. The buffet breakfast each morning was also something to look forward to. The lady who helped arranged our attractions for us was fantastic. Was sure to give us a good deal including transfers.

Overall, the hotel is excellent! The room was great – very spacious, with a comfortable bed, and both a shower and a bathtub. Housekeeping was also very good. The pool area is lovely and quite large, with plenty of seating around the water to relax. Breakfast was good and fairly standard, with eggs, bacon, bread, fruit, and vegetables. One thing to note: if you’re spending time in the lobby, make sure to use mosquito repellent – you can get bitten quite quickly.

Excellent staff and customer service. However, this hotel is dated and indeed of refurbishment . The plumbing needs sorting as the toilet in our room took forever to flush. Secondly, on our first 3 days, we found and killed cockroaches in our room. When we complained about these 2 things, the staff offered us an alternative room, but it was inferior to the room we had with a more decayed bathroom. It is or was a beautiful hotel at some stage, the pool area is still lovely. There was a gym which was used but lacked upto date equipment, especially for upper body muscles, and I noticed it was never cleaned even though staff visited there. In terms of location, the immediate area had lots of reasonable priced restaurants, but it was a good 20 to 30 minute walk from the famous bangla road where most tourists hang out at night.
