Arrived 8pm and the entire companion ways for the facility were warm and welcoming with it being 4 degrees outside. The room was also pre-heating with the heat, well done. Staff were amazing and helpful and the food was top notch. Highly recommended
We stay here whenever we visit chch. Excellent value for money because we get a all you can eat buffet cooked breakfast. Excellent rooms excellent service excellent evening meals at restaurant. Restaurant is like a museum lots to look at.
It’s all average. It used to be a great place to stay and if you are in a room that doesn’t have a corridor like the main building and you are being woken up everytime people walk past your room talking and laughing it’s not a bad place to stay. But better soundproofing required. The beds are terrible, every move (and I mean every move - moving an arm) by my husband or myself was felt by the other so much so that he moved to the single bed to sleep. I’ve decided not to come back here again. Would rather spend another $20 to get a nicer place
