Pavillon Boutique Hotel & Apartment Nha Trang

Great value in Nha Trang. Rooms are a little bit old and you only get one room key. Biggest issue we had is we couldn’t find a way to shower without flooding the entire bathroom each time, but overall enjoyed our time here.

I stayed here for 13 nights and had a mixed experience. If you’re planning to book a regular room, note that it comes with two twin beds pushed together, not a proper king bed. I asked to change to a room with a single big bed, and they explained that only the larger ocean-facing rooms have that so I ended up paying extra to switch. Unfortunately, that room was already booked partway through my stay, so I had to move back to the uncomfortable setup. Lesson learned: if comfort matters to you, don’t try to save a few dollars just book the bigger room from the beginning. The younger staff members were lovely, friendly and helpful. There was one mid-aged staff who works late shifts who came off as a bit rude, but hey we all have bad days. Would I come back? Probably not. But if you’re staying short-term and don’t mind the bed setup, it might work for you.

Overall the hotel was pleasant enough but I definitely would not rate this as a 4-star hotel. The bathroom flooded every time we had a shower because the water splashes out of the bathtub onto the floor. Phone didn’t work when I tried to ring the reception for more towels. When first arriving to the hotel, stairs lead up to the reception desk, so you have to carry suitcases. Cash only for payment of the room. No breakfast services or mini bar in the room. Cupboard had a moldy smell. Kitchen in the room had no cutlery, glassware or crockery. Just a bunch of empty cupboards. Balcony has no furniture. TV has no channels to flick through, only apps where you have to log in (but most travelers wouldn’t be able to use their home accounts). We could only get 1 room key. Rooms are definitely not sound proof. Bathroom has no hooks or anywhere to hang towels. Positives: Good location, close to the beach. Rooms are a nice size. Staff are friendly. Cheap price.
