Pavillon Winter Luxor

I had a wonderful stay at the Pavillon Winter Luxor. The hotel is a quiet and beautifully maintained retreat, perfect for relaxing after a long day of sightseeing. The highlight for me was the stunning garden. It is incredibly well-kept, with peacocks, flamingos, and even a few adorable cats wandering around. My room had a great view of the greenery, and for the price, it was very comfortable. The bed was excellent, and I slept really well. One thing I highly recommend to any traveler: book the hotel’s transfer service in Luxor. I had a terrible experience at Cairo Airport, where I was constantly harassed and overcharged. In contrast, my transfer in Luxor was completely smooth. The guide was already waiting for me at baggage claim and, on my departure, even escorted me all the way to passport control. This made a huge difference and really helped after my stressful arrival from Cairo.

To me, this was the perfect place to stay and explore beautiful Luxor and all it has to offer. The service and care from the people working here was excelent, whatever your needs could be, everyone is always happy to help with a big smile. The look and location of this place is beyond anything I had expected, the garden alone as you enter the grounds is an amazingly welcoming sight. and as it is a central location along the Nile banks it is one of the best places to plan your magical adventures in and around Luxor from. From here when waking up a bit early you can get to all the beautiful places like Karnak Temple, or The Valley of the Kings way before the big tour busses filled with people arrive giving you a nice peaceful time to explore these magical spots. The food options in the hotel are also everything you would expect and hope from it, you will be able to find something for anyone and any taste. for me personaly, as I regularly live with an unconventional eating scedule the 24h roomservice was a big positive aswell. And ofcource having a nice cold drink at the bar on the front side of the hotel with a mesmerizing sun setting over the Nile is a view you can't forget. Luxor has so much to offer and this hotel was the perfect home base for me to plan my exploration from, So I will certainly be returning here again! and can't recommend it enough!

I give this place 5 stars strictly because it was a safe zone for us there is security to enter the premises which is so nice with all the haggling there is so much in Egypt it was a safe zone. The staff was friendly and accommodating we actually got food poisoning outside of the premises but the staff helped us get medicine and bananas which was warming thank you Yes the rooms are outdated but again it was just safe and quite peaceful and that was the most important thing to us.
