We were looking for a wine tasting experience, and having struck out at a previous vineyard due to them redecorating, we came across A Capitan. We were welcomed and shown around briefly, before being seated, and then spent several hours simply soaking up the sun in a beautiful old courtyard next to 15th century vineyards. We were served wine and tapas, while we chatted away. I was blown away at how affordable it was too.
Lovely bodega. Rooms large. Fab breakfast. Lovely staff. Good location. Recommended
Good choice if staying in Cambados. A restored historic Manor House ooozing with history, character & architectural features set in landscaped grounds with their own vines & winery. Marta who also does an excellent wine tour speaks good English & is really friendly. Breakfast is good too. Easy walking distance to centre of town.
