While staying at Peach Hill Resort, I had a good overall experience. The staff was friendly and the facilities were well-maintained. The rooms were comfortable and had everything I needed for a relaxing stay. My only gripe was with the food. As a vegetarian, I found the options to be quite limited, not just at the resort but in Phuket in general. This is something to keep in mind if you have specific dietary needs. Another thing to note is the location. As the name suggests, the resort is situated on a hill. Getting there by vehicle is fine, but if you plan on walking to and from the resort, be prepared for a bit of a workout. It's a steep climb, so it feels like a small trek. Despite these minor issues, I would recommend Peach Hill Resort for a pleasant stay in Phuket.
I feel like I was sold a dream on the booking platform, but the hotel didn't deliver. Overall not great value for money - but given the location, that is something I could forgive. The room was aged, but everything except the toilet door worked well. The view from the room window was particularly beautiful and calming, but sitting on the balcony wasn't always. I didn't enjoy the firecrackers, but that was at the shrine at the back of the hotel so I'm not mad - I just got a scare the first time! The breakfast was disappointing. I do feel like it catered towards South Asian guests, going off what hot food was served, which is fine - just not my thing every morning when I'm holidaying in Thailand. The fresh omelette was good, just that there was often a queue. The coffee is the one thing I want when having breakfast, and it was awful. I did have to get coffee from a nearby cafe or the 7-Eleven. I also enjoy pastries, for breakfast and they were too sweet and not properly covered. The pool area was nice when loungers were available. The staff were mostly lovely, but I did have additional charges that I shouldn't have been billed for. We almost blindly paid, but thankfully had checked the reviews and saw the frequency of this problem.
Extremely Disappointed – Unacceptable Service I had one of the worst experiences at this hotel. I was explicitly promised by the staff that a morning breakfast would be arranged and delivered to my room due to my early morning flight. However, when the time came, not only was there no breakfast, but the staff outright denied ever making such a commitment. This is completely unacceptable and shows a severe lack of professionalism, reliability, and basic customer service. I was forced to leave for the airport hungry and extremely dissatisfied. If your hotel cannot honor its commitments or train staff to communicate clearly and follow through, you are not ready to host paying guests. I strongly urge management to review this incident seriously and ensure no other guest faces such negligence.
