“We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Pearl Beach in Crete. The room was comfortable (4/5), and the breakfast offered a great variety with something for everyone. The pool closed a bit early, but with the beach right next to the hotel, it didn’t matter. The beach area was excellent, with everything you could need close by. The bar service was 5/5, with delicious drinks and super friendly staff who made us feel very welcome. Overall, we are very satisfied with our visit and would gladly return!”

We stayed here in June 2025 with Half Board, but our experience was not what we expected from 4-star hotel. We arrived late on the first night (after 10pm) and we received a cold plate (some cheese, ham and vegetables because of course, at that hour dinner was already served. On the day of checkout, we left our room at 11am, but had to wait for our transfer until 10pm. We asked if we could use our missed dinner from the first night, but the hotel refused and asked us to pay 18Eur per person if we wanted dinner. This was very disappointing, especially since didn’t receive a full dinner on arrival. Sunbeds and umbrellas on the hotel beach are also charged separately (7 eur/set) even for hotel guests. Meanwhile, many nearby beach bars offer them for free, only to buy a drink (not a 7 night package as us). The swimming pool is only open from 10AM to 6PM which is not convenient. After a day at the beach, after 6 PM is the perfect time to enjoy the pool after swimming in the sea, but it was already closed. There were also a lot of mosquitoes, especially in the reception area and around the pool after 7pm. Overall, while there were few positives things like decent food, and they let us in the last day to use the pool till we take the transfer in the night, but hotel’s rigid policies, extra fees, and lack of flexibility made the experience disappointing. I wouldn’t return or recommend this place to others.

The pool program is terrible(10 AM - 6 PM), taxes for sunbeds at the beach (which as I saw at another hotels from near, they give you for free without paying or just by buying a drink). The rooms are not an luxury, clearly not 4 stars rooms, maybe 3. The food is okay, the waiters are pretty nice, but sadly I will not return here (maybe only when the things are changed with what I said above)
