The hotel was nice and charming. Our room felt spacious and large, which I really liked. It was also great that it had a fridge and a hairdryer. The location is relatively close to the city center—about a 40-minute walk or an 8-minute Uber ride, which cost €20 for six people. The neighborhood itself isn’t anything special; it has more of a “ghetto” feel, but there are some conveniences like a grocery store, cafés, and a bakery nearby. Overall, it was a pleasant stay!
It's okay for the price. The staff is friendly but the rooms has clearly seen better days. If you have a larger car than a VW up you will have a heart attack driving in the underground parking lot
I only booked this hotel so I would have air conditioning at night. I live around the corner, but it's very exhausting in my apartment on hot days. When I arrived at the hotel, I was told that the air conditioning in all the rooms on the left side wasn't working. This wasn't communicated, so I insisted on being given a room on the right hallway side. However, there was only one single room available, even though there were two of us. Unfortunately, the receptionist was unhelpful and kept referring us to contacting hotel management the next morning. He was consistently unwilling to find a solution for that night. He also prevented Booking.com from refunding us for our stay by making false statements to Booking.com. Overall, we were extremely dissatisfied with the conflict resolution or the finding a solution of the problem. In the end, a solution was reluctantly found that was satisfactory to us. However, the process involved was anything but disappointing and kept us busy the entire evening, so that we could not do what we would’ve liked to do.
