Peebles Hydro Hotel

We had a wonderful meal at the Grill Bar at Peebles Hydro. The food was excellent—fresh, full of flavour, and beautifully presented. It really exceeded expectations for a hotel restaurant. What stood out even more was the outstanding service. A big thank you to Elena and Ruairidh for their friendly and attentive service throughout the evening—they made the experience feel personal and welcoming. And special thanks to John, the manager, for ensuring everything ran smoothly and for his warm hospitality. It’s clear the team takes pride in what they do. Highly recommend dining here whether you're staying at the hotel or just passing through Peebles!

Absolutely beautiful location and views. Lots of activities to offer and village is great to hang around. Food is excellent and service very friendly. Pool and spa, everything you need to chill. My only criticism will be that hotel need little bit of touch. New paint, carpets and patch ups. If this don't bother you its a great place to be. Its like time machine hotel that need little bit of love

What a beautiful hotel! We were lucky to stay here recently while visiting Scotland from New Zealand. The buffet breakfast was incredible, with plenty of options to choose from. Our room was clean and comfortable, and we loved the Tunnock’s treat waiting for us. Overall, it was a fantastic stay, and we can’t wait to return in the future, as the hotel has so much to offer. The staff were very friendly.
