Pelican Point Sanctuary

We stayed at Pelican Point Sanctuary in February this year and we were absolutely delighted by the beautiful accommodation surrounds and hospitality shown by Jerome. Our only regret was that we only stayed for three days. We hope to have a more extended stay next year. I cannot recommend Pelican Point Sanctuary enough. A magical destination !

My partner and I just spent a very relaxing week at Pelican Point Sanctuary in St Helen’s, and we can’t recommend it highly enough. This was our second stay, and just like the first time, we absolutely loved it. The birdlife is incredible, with a variety of species around, and we enjoyed the peaceful, natural surroundings. There are also fantastic walks nearby, offering a chance to explore the local landscape and take in the stunning views. The accommodation is excellent—spacious, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything we needed for a stress-free stay. The peaceful atmosphere made it the perfect place to unwind and recharge. The sanctuary itself offers a sense of seclusion, yet it’s just a short walk to the charming town of St Helen’s, which is full of local character and offers everything you need for a relaxed stay. Jerome, the host, was incredibly welcoming and hospitable, always ready with recommendations and a friendly chat. His attention to detail made all the difference, ensuring we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We’ll definitely be returning for a third visit! If you’re looking for a peaceful, relaxing getaway with stunning birdlife, beautiful walks, and a welcoming host, Pelican Point Sanctuary is the perfect choice. It’s an ideal spot for anyone looking to escape the hustle and bustle and enjoy the simple pleasures of nature.

We had an absolutely wonderful experience at Pelican Point Sanctuary. Spectacular views from every room to enjoy the variety of birds, lovely paths to walk, and serenity. You felt you were far away from all the hustle and bustle of everyday life. 87 acres of natural beauty! The room was like a lovely apartment I could live in with lots of windows letting in light and all the comforts of home. The location was great, close enough to St. Helen's to go out to eat, if you chose to do so and only about 20 minutes to Bay of Fires. Jerome, the owner and host was such a pleasure and his dog Lawson was an extra treat. Thank you for making our holiday one to remember. Jack and Brenda Rosenthal
