Pelican Sands Scamander

We’ve just spent four wonderful nights at Pelican Sands in Scamander. From the moment we arrived, our host Shelley, made us feel so welcome. The accommodation is simple but has everything we needed, including a small kitchenette with a fridge, microwave, and induction stove. The bed was very comfortable, and we felt right at home. The real magic is the location. When we opened up the curtains in morning the views over the estuary were stunning and the nearby beaches are just a short stroll away. We also loved watching the pelicans swimming on the water. This has been a perfect base for our exploring the local region. Thank you, Shelley, for making our time in Scamander so enjoyable!

We had a wonderful stay at Pelican Sands. The room was cosy with a kitchenette , super comfy bed, full size fridge and reverse cycle air conditioner. It looked straight onto the reserve with the river opening and beach in the distance. You can walk the reserve all the way round to the beach on the left or head over the bridge on the right. We were lucky to be there the night after a full moon and to catch some glorious sunrises from our deck. Shelley was very friendly and responsive. Note about the bathroom if accessibility is important : there is a large step up into the shower in unit 2.
