Pelican Waters Golf Resort Sunshine Coast

We enjoyed the resort. It has a great gym, two pools and tennis courts. The room was neat and clean. Shops and amenities were only a few minutes away. Lots of underground parking. There's a golf course across the road, lots of places to walk.

Wow is all I have to say, Beautiful rooms, absolutely lovely staff, meet the regular residents and enjoy amazing food at really great prices. It's a Lovely spot, nice and quiet, 30 min walk to shops. Local buses from shops to Caloundra, gorgeous wildlife, so very peaceful and relaxing. We had a lovely holiday. Such a great place to stay. Warm and very welcoming

If I could a big 0 rating I would.... we booked a room at the price of $691 for a night. My husband tested positive for Covid the day before. We contacted the hotel to ask to cancel or reschedule offering to pay a fee to them. We were told to contact booking.com (who we booked through), booking.com told us that it was up Pelican waters to decide to refund/cancellation fee/reschedule... they told us straight up NO because it was a 7 day cancellation policy... next time I guess we should not say anything, just go ahead and stay and take a chance of infecting the whole resort and having them be shut down? Very disappointed that they weren't willing to assist in anyway... they basically just took out $691 and had no compassion... Pls take care when booking with them and paying an over the top price for a room for 1 night... if you get sick within 7 days of your stay you will be met with an unhelpful, disrespectful, disregard. Zero zero zero help and zero compassion.
