Room was nice. Had Netflix which was fantastic for the kids. Beds were comfortable. Staff were very polite. Small play area for kids to play. I would book again. Only issue room only had less than half roll of toilet paper when we arrived for 4 of us. Had to go and find one. Reception only had toilet paper from the bar toilets available. Other than that well worth a stay. Good choice of beers wines etc. Didn't try the food so can't comment on it
Room spacious and clean. Food good pub food . Breakfast on the second day was poor, paid for a continental but there was only toast and cereal left . There were no plates so had to have toast on a napkin. No tall tea cups left but when I ask for one I was told bluntly that she didn’t have time to wash one . Very under staffed . Very disappointed.
Only dined here. The pub wasn't exceptionally busy at the time yet we were told it would be an hour for food. The menu was fairly standard for a pub but unfortunately the quality didn't really justify the price or the wait. Serving staff were good though.
