Pentahotel Derby

We stayed here with a lot of family and friends for our wedding weekend. From the moment of contact to after the stay, it has be flawless service. The staff were so chilled, laid back and ensured we had the best stay. The management team, particularly Chloe, has been AMAZING across the months leading up to our wedding. There were no mistakes with any of the rooms or requests for Z beds etc. Amazing organisation and we will definitely be now thinking to stay in these B+B hotels here again, and over the country. Thank you for all who was working on 28-29th July 2025. You guys were the best!

I regularly stay away for work and stop in a variety of hotels. The staff, hotel condition and location are great for me. Stayed here a few times now. The rooms are always clean and tidy and in good condition. Myself, and others from the company, often stop at the other hotels. I will be recommending here instead. Thanks. If I gave a 5 I would have no reserve rating in the unlikely event that I find another hotel in the area that i like as much.

Located very close to the train station so convenient for business travel. Customer service very good. Room itself was small but comfortable. What let it down considerably was the temperature. The hotel does not have air conditioning, only “air flow” which is essentially a very loud fan built into the room itself. Didn’t achieve anything, in fact the already-uncomfortable temperature increased by 2 degrees from 24 to 26. The staff were able to move me to a room on a lower floor - still with the laughable air flow system - and whilst this was cooler, it was still 22/23 degrees. Not comfortable to sleep in at all. I’d also like to point out the outside temperature was 25 degrees, so we’re not talking super super hot! I dread to think what this hotel would be like mid-summer…
