Penthouses by Pinnacle Lodging at Beaver Run

I really enjoyed my stay with my 7-year old daughter this past week. I booked it under their Summer sale where all of the rooms were $175 per night so we got a one bedroom suite with a private balcony and full kitchen. The room was fabulous other than the dishwasher which didn't roll out right and the toaster which only cooked the bottom half of one side of my bread lol. The amenities were wonderful and the pool was nice and warm in building 4. We used their free shuttle for our outings and never had to wait more than 5 minutes. That was fabulous as I didn't want to have to worry about parking. I highly recommend this place and will be looking for this Summer deal again next year. If I can get it I'll make this an annual thing. And I don't make much money so this was the first vacation I've taken my daughter on so I appreciate everything I was able to get for the price. We live in Denver so it was less than a 2-hour drive. The traffic leaving there on Sunday, when we were driving there, was absolutely AWFUL. I recommend going during the week like we did if possible.

What a lovely resort to stay at no matter the season. The accommodations are so well equipped and perfectly decorated to make your stay so very special. We utilized the spa treatments as well. Centrally located to Main Street, yet just far enough away created a quiet tranquil spot when we wanted quiet time yet we were just steps away from the fantastic restaurants and entertainment and shoppes on Main Street. Will def be back!

Beautiful hotel resort at high altitude - 9,000 feet up! Ensure you drink lots of water!! Note there is no air conditioning here! While it doesn't get super hot high up in the mountains it can get hot in rooms without fans or windows or a balcony door to open. I opened my balcony door a smidge. My room had a refrigerator with a freezer, real fireplace, fans (noisy), flat screen TV, stove and a microwave. My bed was very comfortable and I loved the mountain view! This is a resort with several buildings. It can be tricky to navigate indoors until you know the layout. There's a pool, a spa, guest laundry, restaurant with great food, an arcade that even includes mini golf indoors and other amenities. They need to have building labels that are lit up at night. Parking is free but can be tight so plan to arrive early. A short drive away in town one can ride the enclosed gondola for free ( in summer only?). I saw moose from the gondola! There's interesting shopping downtown.
