Huge room, clean and with lots of amenities. You could notice how much the staff went to extra lengths to make the room spotless. We were provided with a selection of complimentary drinks in our fridge restocked every day which was such a treat to come back to. The washing machine that doubled as a dryer was incredible. Guests are all given a free glass of wine or beer at the bar everyday. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Great value for money.
I've been coming to Gladstone regularly for 2+ years staying in several locations (mainly in Gladstone Central) and Peppers wins hands down the most comfortable accommodation I've stayed in. Having gone with the accommodation with breakfast option, I was very pleased with the buffet breakfast at Encore. The dinner buffet was great and if you're into seafood then there is plenty on offer. During my stay there was cooked for you Asian stir fry, although some weeks it will be Italian pasta options. The lighter meals at Shangri-La Cafe were great and the staff very friendly. Given that I work in Gladstone Central the 3km walk was a little far so I caught a taxi most mornings.
The rooms are absolutely gorgeous, very stylish and modern! Peppers shows a meticulous attention to detail, such as the thoughtful touch of providing a complimentary non-alcoholic drink each day. Super comfortable beds and loved the washer/dryers in the room for laundry!
