Perigiali

We thoroughly enjoyed our 2 weeks stay at Perigiali Apartments. We could see the sea from the terrace and watch the sun disappear over the mountains in the evenings. Everything was perfect, the apartment, cleanliness, and ambience. The crystal clear sea, beaches, mini markets and tavernas are all near by. We found George, the owner to be very helpful and friendly. An absolute joyous and tranquil holiday.

It was very quiet with an outside place to seat and make brbq or have breakfast. The view was not good but we where not there for view. Τhey didn't change our sheets and towels , 4 nights we where there, but the owner was very nice person and we had no problems.

We stayed 4 nights (12-16/8, 2023), 4 people in two rooms at Perigiali Apartments, Makry Gialos. The rooms doesn't have good sea view. You can see parts of the sea, in between buildings and trees. The cleaning lady only came once and she took the garbage and made the beds, NO cleaning at all. We didn't get any clean towels or sheets during our 4 nights stay. We had put on the bathroom floor one dirty small towel and one dirty larger towel for the cleaning lady to change, these towels were just hanged up again. In the mini kitchen you can prepare your breakfast and a light meal. In the kitchen there were salt, peper, olive oil, organo, sugar, a little coffee, a few tea bags. And of course plates and glasses and so on. In the bedroom there were something for the mosquitoes, and a small safety box, TV and hairdryer. For our welcome/arrival (Check In) there were in the refrigerator, one small water, one small beer, one small juice. And on the kitchen table a plate with 4 biscuits, one small chocolate and a little sugar and coffee. The apartments were nice, but we were disapointed with the sea view and lack of cleaning. There is a large nice beach with sand and small stones just 50 meters from the rooms. Not many people on this beach. The sea is clean. There are trees so you can find shade also. There are a few sunbeds on this beach which belongs to a taverna. You can easily walk to the "center" of Makry Gialos from Perigiali Apartments. From the rooms you walk to the sea and turn to the left, a little uphill walking and then a little downhill walking, and after 150 meters you are at the harbor of Makry Gialos. That is were most of the cafe's and taverna's are. In front of the cafe's and taverna's is the main beach of Makry Gialos. This beach has sand. This beach is really crowded during the high season, full of sunbeds, umbrellas and noise. We had a car and we visited several beautiful beaches in the area.
